I prefer the cabin air filter my wife"s Volvo V70 (also v an I5!) has. I carry out 20 come 30 miles per month top top a dusty dirt road with mine truck and it would be quite to save the cabin a bit less dusty.Has anyone thought around adding a cabin wait filter to their Colly? can it be done or must I just forget about it?
Good question.

No, that does NOT have actually one. However I"m looking into adding one. Due to the fact that of harvest I have a ton the "beeswings" in my ducting. Its been two weeks and it tho blows them the end every time i revolve on the fan. Not to point out I"m walking to need to pull the dash therefore I can clean out the heater core and ac core..

I dont know about actually working. But I do clean it when a week and it constantly has dust gathered on it.It is very small so i dont know how much it is in reality cleaning. However I watch dust for this reason its law something.
Okay males I"ve to be thinking around getting an wait filter. I acquire Pi$$ed when I spend a few hours detailing and then there is dust everywhere my dash. Is there a design that have the right to be put under the chair or under the dash. Ns really DON"T desire one I"d have to plug into a 12v harbor on the dash. Is it possible to gain one native an larger truck and also jam that in somewhere? ns don"t care about smell I simply HATE DANG DUST! permit me understand what girlfriend think! Thanks!

Where is the waiting taken native outside? That"s the ar to avoid the dust/beeswings/pollen etc. I haven"t done much digging roughly but I"m guessing it"s under the wipers somewhere. So everything you usage (perhaps some kind of dust bag form thing from a power tool) that would need to be water resistant as well. Having it behind the wiper grill thing would do it a pains to take out and replace with a clean one. Having actually a filter ~ above the outlets would cut down ~ above the dust inside however wouldn"t protect against your ducts and heater core gaining caked up v gunk.

Ionc Breeze
I"d be careful with the ionic breeze. I"ve read a couple of studies where the point creates ozone as a by product of the filtering process. It could be amplified if contianed inside a truck cabin. I"ll shot to uncover a connect to several of the studies.
